Kids Skills: A Playful & Practical Approach for Turning Problems into Skills

Compass Seminars invites you to spend a day with Dr Ben Furman the Finnish psychiatrist, psychotherapist and author of the internationally acclaimed ‘Kids Skills’ and the newly published ‘Kids Skills in Action’.

Ben will introduce a refreshing and dynamic practice model that allows children and adults to come together and convert problems into skills. He will take participants on a radical journey that will change your views about counselling, teaching, and parenting children who are experiencing ‘problems’. Kids Skills is more than a behaviour-modification technique with a clever reward and reinforcement system, it is designed to focus not only on the child, but on the psychological ecosystem around the child, engaging their entire social network.
